Welcome, Jon Hines is an award winning, national touring blues musician living in Cape Breton.

 

Jon Hines is a Cape Breton based, Canadian blues musician who has received national and international radio play across Canada, UK, and the United States of America. Fresh off a two month Australian tour. Two time winner of the East Coast Blues Society, “Maritime to Memphis” blues challenge. Where he represented Atlantic Canada in Memphis Tennessee during the IBCs (international blues challenge). Placing as a semi finalist in 2025 band category in IBCs. Blues recording artist of the year award recipient for Music Nova Scotia. Two time ECMA nominated artist, blues recording of the year. Fresh out of the studio for first band recording, new album to be released later in 2025. Trio has been sharing stages at local clubs and festivals throughout the maritimes. Backed by a power duo rhythm section, featuring swampy gritty guitar infused with haunting vocals and story telling.
